Xiansu

The location of this hotel is good as it is within the valley scenic area. the room that we booked was nice and clean with a good view. It was also near the food street and the main activity area. The valley was quite scenic (esp.night time when the whole vallley is lighted up), and the experience in the valley was good with many food stalls and cultural performances. The buffet breakfast spread was very good. Note that there is no laundry service. However, the hotel service needs improvement. When we arrived, the taxi was not allowed to drive to the hobby lobby, and we need to drag our luggage to the hotel reception from the entrance of the scenic area although it's not a long distance. My room was quite far from the hotel reception (10 min walk with many steps) , there was a hotel staff to guide us there. He was kind enough to help my wife with her luggage, but I can see that it was not a default service for them to help with the luggage as it was not mentioned by the reception to call them to help when checking out. The reception did not offer us the map of the whole vallley and make recommendations of what to do. We were a bit lost after we checked in to the room and had to walk up to the reception to get the map. Check out time was 12pm. But after breakfast, we came back to the room and found that we couldn't access the room with our card. We called the front desk, and they couldn't unlock it via the system and had to get a staf member to come to our room. Good thing that I bought the local SIM card and am able to call the front desk . If not, I will have to walk up to the reception to get this sorted out, and I had a train to catch! After checking out, I requested reception to call a taxi for us. To our surprise , she replied that they don't do that for guests. She asked us to call the car hailing service ourselves even after i told her we are not local and not familiar with the didi app. After repeated requests, she eventually helped us call a car. I'm not sure why she didn't offer assistance from the beginning. The experience would be better if the hotel could look into improving the areas that i have brought up.

The environment is quiet and nice, the room is clean, the service is good, the breakfast buffet serves a variety of local specialties. I enjoy my stay at xiansu.

Xiansu is a wonderful resort suitable for families. Even in winter when the rafting & swimming pool close, you can go hiking, visit every beautiful parts of it, join activities, taking pictures, trying local delicacies and drinking wine with smashing the little bowl afterwards just like in kungfu movie 😄 Staff are friendly and helpful. Even though they don’t speak English, we can communicate using google translate. Breakfast buffet is delish. Some rooms for improvement: 1. During our stay (mid Dec 2024) there was development outside the resort. Entrance signboard somehow covered by cement mixer, truck loaded with stones. Poor Didi driver patiently sent us there, end up dropped us at the wrong side 😰 we had to walk in between those heavy vehicles. 2. Room was freezing cold. We had asked the porter on how to operate the heater but during the night it seemed didn’t work at all.

Good location. In Wang xian gu valley. You can enjoy the village 24/7. Breakfast is also goo in quality and variety! My room in area 27 which is new and clean.

Best customer service ever. While there was some noise in my room (2912) due to a washing machine or something similar, the environment was astonishing and the experience totally worthy. Hotel staff helped me with everything i needed. I'd definitely recommend it to other travellers

Yes we really love the hotel. The room is clean and nice. We feel so comfortable and all staff are nice. We will be back of course.
